For a leading mechanical engineering and manufacturing Unit in Bikaner, Rajasthan, a position of Production incharge is open, preferably experienced in the field of machine manufacturing like thresher, grading, and cleaning plant and machineries, factory production units with hands on experience in heavy fabrication works. Responsibilities of a production Incharge 1) Production planning In coordination with design team, Fabrication team and senior managers the planning of production with the timelines, production targets and to be achieved 2) Production control Aims at completing production on time and with lesser costs and minimal wastages. 3) Quality control Concerned with controlling the negative variables which affect the ultimate quality of a product. It is concerned with use of all the ways and means where by quality standards could be maintained. 4) Method analysis Considering the best alternative of methods and design in coordination with senior team and thereby achieving the desired results 5) Inventory control The next important function to be carried by a production incharge is to exercise proper control over the inventory. He should determine economic order size, maximum, minimum, average and danger levels of materials so that problems of overstocking and understocking do not arise. This also helps in minimising wastages of materials. 6) Plant layout For maximum and effective utilisation of available resources at minimal costs. 7) Work measurement Studying drawings, discussing any changes with senior teams prior to production 8) Other functions: Cost control, standardisation of process and fabrication, achieving desired performance and output from ground team and installation team at sites, provision of wage incentives with workers etc. Salary and benefits as per industry norms
